Sometimes you just gotta......
« on: May 02, 2004, 05:28:44 pm »
shake your head and laugh at yourself. Decided today that I was going to wrestle my showcase cab monitor section into the house becasue I need the space in my garage. Well I managed to get it out of the bed of the truck on to the front porch and through the front door into the living room. From there it has to go through the kitchen down a short hallway and down one step into my game room, piece of cake right? NOT! I decided to break and have supper before wrestling it through the rest of the house and I'm standing in the kitchen looking at the doorway to the back hall and thinking I should measure the doorway, it looked kinda small. Well I whip out the tape measure and check only to find the opening is 4" smaller than the cab. *grrrrr* So just for shits and giggles I decided to check the other doorways too. Of the 4 doorways I have to pass through, only 1 is wide enough for the cab to pass through. DOH! And normally I would bring stuff like this in through the back door which opens right into the game room, but I didn't want to have to try and get this thing up the stairs back there by myself. I measured the back doors (there two openings it has to go through) and it wouldn't fit through there either. Well at least it's in the house, I'm going to have to dissasemble it to get it through the doors now. *sigh*

I feel better now that I've shared. *lol*
