Reply to this post and PM me if you have VirtuaTennis on your cab, and want some online action  :D

I'd be up for a game except my cab is not connected to the internet.  I'm wondering how many people actually have their cabs connected to the net?

I just put a wireless PCI adaptor (802.11b) for about $27.

I actually VNC into the PC from my main computer for maintenance, etc....

I too use a WiFi NIC in my cab. Surfing this site from the cab is the only way to go! It's great for updating software, adding ROMs, and troubleshooting (my machine, anyway, is a forever work in progress). I can't imagine a PC without Internet connectitivty -- dedicated MAME machine or no. I'd spend too much time burning CDs to shuttle software to the cabinet to make it worthwhile.

I don't use it to play network games though. I should try that.

you ought to check out karillera or whatever its called....not the kymera FE, but its a program that lets you enter a chat environment, and then run any emulator with roms on it, with people who have the same program.  i played ninja turtles the other day with 3 other people ive never talked to.   you can chat, and all that.  once i get home ill try to post the link to the site where i got that program.  just do a google for "online mame32" or something like that.
