Image stretched in center of screen
« on: April 27, 2004, 08:35:33 am »
I have a 19" proview computer monitor and I am using advance mame.  Under certain resolutions the center of the screen is stretched horizontally causing the image to be somewhat egg shaped.  Other resolutions display perfectly.  I have hooked other monitors to the computer and the image does the same thing but to a lesser extent.
I am not real familiar with advance mame but from what I could tell there wasn't an option to adjust the geometry of the display, only the size and position.  I am able to adjust the monitor itself to get it to display properly but when I shut it off I have to adjust it the next time I use it.

Does this sound like a software or a hardware problem.  Possibly something to do with the video card? Which is a VooDoo3 by the way.
