puck stuck in shuffleshot
« on: July 23, 2002, 03:13:44 pm »
shuffleshot is a very nice looking shuffleboard game emulated in MAME.  I have an imperial trackball on my cab that works perfectly for games like golden tee and missile command.  When I play shuffleshot however, the puck gets stuck on an invisible wall about a foot in front of the starting line.  I disabled mouse control and enabled joysticks to see if it was my mouse driver and the puck still gets stuck.  Am I just playing the game wrong?  Anybody else have this happen to them?

I get the same problem -- not sure if sensitivity is the issue -- try pushing a bit more slowly, it should eventually move, but it's really not playable.

Anyone else able to play this  (mouse or trackball)

"ohhh, ehhh... slow down..." ;D
