I am running my ArcadeVGA via my selfmade VGA ---> Scart cable on a Grundig TV, and it runs flawless ..... except for
the Screensize. The Screen is too large in width and height for my TV-Set. I cant find a solution for adjusting the graphicscard signal. The Boxes for Screenadjustment in the driver tab are greyed out (i am using xp, the same in Win 98 SE).
Someone told me to open the TV-Set and adjust the screensize there ... but i am not willing to do that (lack of experience).
Advancemame didnt help either, i couldnt fit the whole picture on my TV.
Here is a quote from Andy / Ultimarc:
But there is one way we can use a TV very satisfactorily, which is going in via the RGB pins on a SCART connector (US readers look away at this point, SCART is a European standard!). This actually turns the TV into an arcade monitor because it by-passes all the signal-degrading PAL or NTSC decoder, We can even run native resolutions providing the TV is happy with non-interlaced screens.
Any ideas how to activate the screenadjustment-feature in the arcadevga`s driver ? Other solutions ? Right now the ArcadeVGA / TV combination doesnt satisfy my needs.
Any help is appreciated. Greetings from Germany.
