Arcade OS, help!!!
« on: July 21, 2002, 11:16:34 pm »
Hey. I am getting ready to build my cabinet. I am also getting my PC ready. I put ArcadeOS on, and when I launched it, it wont recognize any of my sample roms. Can anyone tell me how to make ArcadeOS recognize them?
Thanks in advance!

What version of MAME are you using?  If you tell me I think I can help you out on this one.  I use AdvanceMame and ArcadeOs and EVERY game works perfect now.  If you're using AdvanceMame....all you need to do is put a folder called "samples" inside the mame folder.......its not ArcadeOs that is looking for these...its actually Mame.  Let me know so I can help you.

Like I said before in another post....I think I am the only one that uses ArcadeOs.  I have a lot of experience with it and think it works great.  I don't know if it will work with the newest version with arcade monitor support.  Guess we will find out.  Post your results here after so we can help others as well.  :)
