Sync Issue DC vgaBox + Arcade Monitor

Ok, I've been fooling around with this for quite some time and haven't found a solution...just went through a whole bunch of vgaboxes (ebay loves me) to no avail....I'm sure I hacked it properly but for whatever reason the screen won't sync properly....it rolls vertically and the horizontal is like 50% to the right...I've tried playing with the remote panel (vsync/hpos etc) but i think they might be damaged some...is there somewhere where I could get a replacement for that as well?  The Monitor is a WGk7194...its important to note that mame works well via arcadeVGA card but my DC won't...go fig?

when i reconnect the wire that i cut (#7) it outputs perfectly to my computer monitor so the correct wire is cut...what am I missing?

The K7000 series monitors are not VGA (31kHz) sync compatible. I won't work with a VGA box.

You can however hack an regular SCART (RGB) cable, add a sync splitter and connect that to the monitor.

Um, well the whole point of hacking the vgabox is to allow it to display at 15kHz...instead of the 31kHz in a computer monitor...the hack is easy..i think one of adjustment pots on the monitor is shot...hence my problem

I know that u said u thought u did the hack correct, but maybe u overlooked something.  I do i all the time!

You said you cut wire 7- I beleive that is the one you want.  Wire 6 is connected for 30 khz RGB and wire 7 is 15 khz rgb.  I don't know what pinout you used, but the one I used is on gamesx.com and it worked for me.

Are you plugging a vga box into a jpac? I did this awhile ago, and it works fine but you of course need to cut that wire (don't remember the exact number) and you also need to bleed off some of R G and B. I had issues with my vga box before too, but it wasn't the vga box doing it. I noticed that if I have the audio feed to strong my picture would go nuts. So if you have the audio plugged in, try unplugging it to see if that helps, if so you need to lower the volume going to the arcade cabinet.
