Mamewah Font Size
« on: April 05, 2004, 04:57:36 pm »
I set up Mamewah last night for a few different emulators. I'm using Cave's skins from www.screenshotarchive.com. For some reason, MAME and NES have huge fonts (to the point that you can only see the first 3 or 4 letters), while SNES looks fine. The large font shows up in the rom list and the options window. Can anyone tell me where I should be looking to fix this problem? Layout.lay for the problem layouts would be my guess but its all a bit greek to me.

You need to take a look at emu?.lay, where ? is the no. of the emulator in question.  I would suggest you open these in the Layout Designer, and see if it looks the same, adjust if neccessary and re-save...

Thanks Minwah - that worked a treat :)

I've never used the Layout Designer before and didn't even think of it. I opened them up and saw that the font size was 78pt! Opened the files with notepad and did a find and replace. Now everything's rosy.

Thanks for your help. Big thumbs up to Mamewah by the way....
