Increasing hostility from a few members on this board coupled with increasing responsibilities in the "real world" have forced me to retire from active participation in the community.

All current wip projects, as well as my responsibilities towards joint projects are suspended indefinately. Due to the time and bw cost for upkeep, the Lazarus website will come down soon. So please, download while you can. I will try to get someone to continue my work later on, but for now, this is goodbye.

For what it's worth it's been one heck of a run. I've had a lot of fun and met a lot of interesting people over the past several years. I don't regret a thing. To all the good ones I'm gonna miss you, to all the others (you know who you are) well, you know where you can go.

That's it... there isn't anymore,

I always considered you the king newbee enforcement crew..
thought hostility was what you where always looking for.

I'll be sad to see you go, and still use your code daily... Your wrappers helped a lot of other frontends have multi-emulator support...without much thought.

Yes, it was an april fools and it was posted april 1st. You people have to remember there are timezones. Slashdot didn't start april fools until midnight their timezones and didn't stop until then.

That's funny. I was disappointed as I didn't get a chance to get in one last jab at HC before he left
