  • Hi
Choose a control panel
« on: March 25, 2004, 09:59:06 am »
Hey Guys,

Here's a shot of my first attempt at a control panel feedback would be appreciated.

If my measurements are right all of my joysticks and buttons will be centered  in the areas with the chromed effect.

Please provide any useful tips, and tell me what you like and or don't like.

Thanks

Here is a new option I came up with tonight... Which one is better?

I like the look of it all. I like how the pushbuttons are floating on an island of metal. Personally I'm not too crazy for the multiple-arcade-characters-look (I'd rather pick a couple to use) but it looks good.

Very sharp.  Something new and original.  It looks like you were going for the standard Neo-Geo four button config, but is that seventh button going to be to the bottom right?  Just wondering.

What color buttons are you going to use?  Any thoughts on t-molding color?

This is for a desktop control panel only right now,and I'm not going to bother with T-molding for that.

My buttons and sticks are Blue and Black.

I plan to build this control panel into a cabinet eventually.

I attached my button layout...  The bottom 4 buttons will be close to neogeo config (rotated CW a little)

I'm missing a buton on the right for some reason.
