M.E.S.S emulator question
« on: March 24, 2004, 10:53:15 pm »
When you open the MESS emulator you notice all of the consoles are listed.  In my case, I have selected Atari7800 console and can now see all of the Rom files listed in the next window pane of the left.   Thing is, when I scroll through each Rom name, I was hoping to see a screenshot of the game, but rather just see the MESS default pic.

I have screenshots of all the 7800 games but have no idea where to put them for MESS to use them......any ideas?

Thanks

From the MESS help

How do I set up the screenshots/snapshots folder for MESS?
The snapshot (aka screenshot) folder is the place to store images to be displayed in the GUI. It can display in-game/software images and system images, or anything else as long as it is named correctly.

The snapshot folder can be configured in the Directories
