Weird monitor issues
« on: March 20, 2004, 08:41:10 pm »
Hello,

Last night my buddies monitor went kindo of haywire in his cab. It is a Wells Gardner 19". The screen stretched out and extended past the edge of the monitor on both sides. Itryed adjusting the horizontal setting but it didn't help. I noticed several white dials on the back of the monitor. Will these help me adjust the picture and are they even safe to tuch?

Kind of scared about touching the actual monitor. Any help would be appreciated.

For it to "all of a sudden" do this, I would think that either the B+ voltage is too high (power supply issue?) or one of the flyback tuning caps changed value.  In either case, I don't think any of the "white dials" will help because what you're seeing is caused by too much voltage.
