What version of Mame?
« on: March 20, 2004, 03:39:10 pm »
I am currently using an Nvidia GF2 pro with S-Video out but will very soon have an ATI 8500 with the component output adaptor to play on my T.V.

I am currently using Mame32 under Windows XP, I tried an advancemame live cd but I didnt get any display so I havent been able to test for myself.

What emu do you guys suggest for display on a t.v?

Does it look worse using Mame32 as opposed to something like an Advance Mame?

I am just using mame32 on an xp machine through my TV.  I have the display settings at 800x600 - anything higher is very difficult to make out.  A proper front end would look much better than mame32 (I will eventually move over to one) as mame32 is just a very simple, plain fe and very windowsy.
