Display game metadata in a image type definable?
« on: August 02, 2026, 12:38:38 pm »
I searched but couldnt find the answer.
Can we display the metadata as each game is selected?
I know you can right click on the mouse and select it, but can it be displayed automatically?

Hi, there's no option to show the metadata window automatically. It only opens from the right-click menu. But you can get most of that info on screen as you scroll: put tokens like ~g_manufacturer, ~g_year, ~g_genre, ~g_players or ~g_played in any Text element in your layout. If you've got controls.ini set up, ~c_control and ~c_details work too.

What you're after, the full metadata showing up by itself as each game is selected, is a good idea. I'll add it to the feature request list.
