AMI Rowe JEL 200 rebuilt search unit acting up
« on: July 30, 2026, 08:49:13 pm »
Recently rebuilt the search unit in my JEL200 ( new caps, new PCB, new wipers and re calibrated). The last thing I did was put new diodes in (1N4007's ). One at the PCB and one at the transfer relay as specified in the schematic. Upon testing I get a rumbling noise from the speakers and a fast spin of the search unit and no pin pushing. Any ideas why this still doesn't select ?
