Megatouch Ion no security key detected

Been fighting with an Ion, no security key detected.  I have tried 3 different  i/o boards, 2 different mobos, I am at a loss, several different hard drives and keys.  I can never get it to recognize any key. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
