AMI TI-1 Pin Pusher Issue
« on: May 03, 2026, 10:46:51 pm »
Hello! This is my first post.  I'm working on an AMI TI-1.  The scan and selection is working, and previously, it was pushing pins and the carousel worked as expected. For some reason, the pins just stopped pushing. I doubt the solenoids are both bad, and it was working fine a few weeks ago.  All the pins are free.  I spent hours checking the contacts of R1, R5, S1 and S2.  I rang them all out and I think they are working properly, but they are kind of flimsy.  I worked the buttons with contact cleaner and every letter and number combination runs the scan and then both S1 and S2 hit and it stops. The pin pusher just doesn't fire anymore for some reason.  Any ideas?
