  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Has anyone built a system with RASPI3B connected to X-arcade Tri-Mode PCB using Batocera v42 in a cocktail table gaming cabinet or a similar setup?
I'm replacing Retropie with Batocera. Batocera is more user friendly and easy to configure.
I currently, have Batocera installed on a GMKtec NucBox G5 Mini PC connected to my TCL 50" TV working great.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your help

April 13, 2026, update:
I have installed the TRI-Mode PCB connect to RPI3B with Batocera v42 in my cocktail table cabinet. I have installed 100 games from the followin list - https://www.arcaderewind.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/516-in-1-game-list-for-cocktail-table.pdf.
Check Internet Archive for games - https://archive.org/details/classicpcgames.
The TRI-Mode PCB is set to Xinput mode.
I have successfully configured the joysticks and function buttons for a 2 player system.
I'm in the process of testing the games.
