Rowe AMI R81
« on: Yesterday at 06:19:16 am »
Hi, I'm new to this forum so apologies if I am in the wrong area.
I am considering buying a Rowe AMI R81 and are seeking some advice. The Jukebox is in excellent condition and I have a competent repairer to service it. It currently works with some minor issues that can be fixed during the service. This model is one of the first of the electronic models with some basic "computer" parts (Selection control unit, memory unit etc.). I am concerned that if they die it may be the end of the machine. I am seeking advice on replacing these if required in the future - are they available new, second hand or are they repairable and are there people out there that will repair them for me?
Any general advice on purchasing this machine? I don't need a "collectable" machine just a great old jukebox to play our old 45s in style
Any advice appreciated
