Grand Shooter - New Virtua Cop style game in development

I've just uploaded a video that should be of interest to all you old skool #Sega #Lightgun fans. I got to try out a WIP version of a new game that looks and feels like a modern day #VirtuaCop with a bit of #TimeCrisis in there too. It's excellent fun.

Looks good.  I like how the ammo meter/reload are handled.  The locations chosen for shootouts are cool.  Not sure I like the Virtua Cop style rings around the bad guys throughout the whole game.  I think it's more fun to figure out where the bad guys are coming from and which ones need taken out first through repetition (replays).  What hooks me about the old games is that you have to learn and improve rather than just accumulating points that make you more powerful.  Not sure that well that works with modern audiences.  I can see the argument that memorization isn't much better than grinding for xp points, but I prefer the prior.

I quite like the rings, specifically because it makes me think of Virtua Cop. This game's a lot of fun.

P.S. Hello BM, long time no speak, hope you're well matey!

Looks nice! It's always great to see more lightgun games get native PC releases to justify all the work we put in making lightgun systems just to play the damn things. This is probably one of the better indie efforts I've seen!
Though it is interesting how this is apparently originally a mobile title? I do vibe with the Sega Lindbergh-era aesthetic they've got going on. :D
