That's ok, no hurry. Did you see my post in the other thread (about how to take the pictures)? I did some explaining
there.
If you have the time, then please take:
- 1 overall shot of the whole bezel
- 4 overlapping images, each of a corner (where combined the 4 images cover the whole bezel) If you camera is high enough megapixel and the bezel is not too detailed, that should probably do
- Maybe a few closeup shots of some of the characters/planets on the bezel (just to be safe and to make sure the detail is in there) Especially a closeup of the planets would probably be handy since they seem kinda detailed.
- If at all possible try to include some visible lines with a 90 degree angle (like the top and a side of the bezel) which can be used for straightening out the images. I guess the 4 shots would automatically have these "lines" included though.
You don't have to piece anything together. Just send me the raw images and I'll deskew the pictures and stuff.
For background I don't think it really matters much, but an even color would probably be easiest to see the actual image.
