Well, MAME cab 3 is complete.

Main features:
->One button power on - goes directly into the game selection interface
->21" Hewlett Packard monitor
->2.1 Sound System with remote volume selector in coin door
->MAMEWAH front end
->Amber Plexi
When you press the power button, everything turns on: computer, monitor, marquee, speakers and subwoofer. This is achieved by using a bit ltd smart strip.
The default exit action in mamewah has been set to '3', so the computer and everything else shuts down when I select "exit mamewah' from the menu.
The sound is great, and can be adjusted easily via the remote volume knob. Right behind the coin door.
The plexiglass is all brand new amber smoke from Tap Plastics. The monitor plexi looks like a limo window when the cab is off, but the image quality/brightness isn't hindered at all. See the picture below:

The control panel is a 2 player layout, with 6 buttons per player. It is covered with clear plexiglass. There are labels under the plexi for each button as well. These are original SF2 labels, and I photoshopped the player 1/2 coin and start labels to match the original font/color/style.
The back is clean - only one black cord coming out of the back to plug in.

The silver coin reject post is the power button. I mounted it so that the button only sticks out about 1/4 inch, that way shutting the thing sown by accident is nearly impossible.
All of the original wiring harnesses, speaker, light stuff, power, etc has been retained in case it ever needs to be um-MAME'd.

The whole point is that this cab was suppoed to be clean...and look like a real game instead of a MAME cab. My other projects are on my site - link in sig.
