« on: February 29, 2004, 02:32:22 am »
Hi all, trying out this illustrator gear for the first time and trying to sort out some ideas for my marquee.

This is a "first draft" sketch of where I want to head.

any feedback welcome.

(I know I need to do something about the background . . .)

Shut up! Bloody Vikings!!

Looks pretty good.

I would work on the red border.  It's pretty big, so make it look 3-D. You could make it pop out and have a rounded look to it.

The words retrogeek are popping out with the shadow. if you make the border pop out, they will be at the same "level"
