NSM IV CD jukeboxes -> looking for wallbox signal protokol info
« on: February 11, 2022, 05:15:42 pm »
Hello,

I would like to use the "Connection Remote selection Wallbox" on my NSM Silver Sky CD jukebox to pilot it with an Arduino or ESP8266.
Can´t find any information about the digital signal - protocol used for the wallbox connection on these jukeboxes.

Who knows about the specs of this NSM connection on connector 9 of the control Unit?

Thanks,

Anton

Hello Prezzo,

Perhaps you will have more luck checking what happens on the signal line with a logical analyser.
It's what I want to do next but probably the jukebox is just waiting for something to happen on the line. The signal from your 'wall-box' will perhaps already show some useful info when you make a selection, but then again...: I guess it waits for a jukebox to first 'say' that it's ready to receive something... mmmm interesting!

Anyway: I will post what I might find out but help from anyone is appreciated.
