Unless that's tagnetti's ebay name, somebody is seriously taking advantage of him--maybe a PM to draw his attention??
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...

I think it should now be basically assumed, if it is posted here, than it is going to be stolen and posted on E-Gay. Pathetic? Definately.

There is no way to control it, other than to have fake accounts that bid on this stuff for a cool Million, and than not pay. Make the Buyer pay ridiculous fees. It is unethical, but so is the use of the artwork.

Definitely not, but it's still quite rude.  More my intention of posting this than anything else.

The auction points back to http://www.mamemarquees.com/faq.htm which thanks Tom for the pic(dunno who tom is though heh) as well as some from Oscars, and some other of the common artworks

Actually I'll admit it - I found that site several weeks ago and ordered that sideart from them (I didn't know it was done by someone here).

The site notes that it is a "Mamemarquee's excluseive"  so do we know that there isn't some sort of agreement (before we mailbomb someone :) ).

If not I wonder if someone took the artwork to them acting it was like their own design and gave them "permission" to use it.

In their defense they were quite responsive to e-mails and the final product was nice.  They even had a slight printing problem in the first one they did for me and emailed me that there would be a slight delay (and they put the other problem one on ebay with a description/closeup of the error).

Didn't tagnetti sell this to Mamemarquee's? Think I remember something like that from a thread on making money of artwork a few weeks back.

I actually gave him permission awhile back to use my "Blue Nova" marquee at mamemarquees.com as long as he included a link back to my site (which he did).    No beefs here, and if he makes some extra money for his service more power to him.  :)
