GroovyArcade - performance of shaders ?
« on: June 25, 2021, 11:01:22 am »
Hi all,
I'm new to GroovyArcade and I'd like to put some CRT type shaders on MAME to give a CRT look on my 4:3 LCD monitor
I tried the the instructions here: https://www.mameau.com/linux/mame-glsl-shaders-setup/
And then tried Black Tiger and it was stuttering all over the place

I've an older PC but it's still an i3 with a geforce 210 card so I think some shading would not be beyond it.

Any suggestions ?

I honnestly can't tell and I don't even want to bither myself with shaders configuration in GA. It's meant for CRT, really.

Now shaders could be a little GPU hungry, that's my first guess
