GroovyArcade on a laptop with CRT in vga port
« on: June 01, 2021, 08:47:14 am »
I tried to install GroovyArcade on a laptop (ati HD 6500) with a 15khz monitor hooked to the vga port, but the monitor was never recognized.

Is this scenario supposed to work?

I did finish the install thinking it could be setup after, but after reading more I saw that it needs to be done in the initial setup.

Try disabling the laptop's lcd (lvds) output from the boot menu before installing. This should force the output through the vga. This shouldn't be required, but I'd give it a try.

Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.
