« on: February 25, 2004, 11:44:05 am »
Hi,

Just a wierd prob with gensFE. It won't work corectly if launched from Mamewah.
It work normaly launche manually even in commandline and when launched from mamewah, part of the screen get blackened like if it could'nt switch res and i get the sound of the game but nothing else.
Got to alt-ctrl-del to kill the process...

If anyone hes a clue ...

Make sure you have these settings in the emu.cfg file for mamewah.

GensFE
Show Dos Box 1
Send Rom Path True
Use Long Filenames False
Send Rom Extension True

Are you using the same resolution in GensFE that Mamewah is using?  I had a couple emulators give me problems because I wasn't doing this.

I think 'Show DOS Box' is the key setting here.  One of the few emulators I use which must have this set to 'Yes', even tho it is a Windows emulator...

OK thanx, you were correct the show dosbox was the key to this problem...

Sorry to answer so late :)
