Golden Tee Live/HE No HDMI Output, but DVI fine on 7600GS
« on: March 13, 2021, 10:56:17 am »
I'm having an issue with DG31PR board and I tried to upgrade the GPU to a 740 and 1050 (correct part numbers Zotac 740 Model 740 ZT-71001-10L and ZOTAC MODEL ZT-P10500A-10L P/N 288-2N454-000Z8), but can’t get output through the HDMI or any output on the card, but can through the VGA connector on the MB.  But it works fine via DVI on a 7600GS card.  I thought it might be the power supply, but changing the PS to a new 500W PS made no difference.  Does the DG31PR not support HDMI?  Or am I totally missing something?

I have tested both the 740 and 1050 card in another GT, but the MB model escapes me.  It has the 6 USB ports and 4 memory slots.  So I know the cards are good and the DIP switches are set correctly on the USB Controller.

Could it be the BIOS version of the MB?  The BIOS is PRG3110H.86A.0066.2009.0518.1206, so is there a newer BIOS?  If so, anywhere to get it?  I know on my other system, it doesn't show the BIOS version when in the BIOS.

The Video card in the BIOS is set to AUTO.

The other difference is the CPU, the one that doesn't show the video is a Celeron CPU and the one that works is a Pentium processor.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
