Anyone wana make a few bucks (Fix my chassis)
« on: February 23, 2004, 12:20:49 pm »
Well, I'm circutly challenged and mildly retarded so I can't do this myself :D
I tried to call some TV repair shops but none of them will fix it.
It's a kortek (k1-2-v0 IIRC) Ken say's it's a possible horiz out transistor, I don't know wth it is :D, it just keeps blowing fuses and the monitor wont turn on.
Any help would be appriciated, I would order a new one but than I'd have to get all those technical specs and again I'm not inclined enough for that stuff :D
Thanks

Ken Layton

Contact Kortek directly at their USA office in Las Vegas. They service their products. Phone (755) 359-2205 or 2204

where are you located?

I'm guessing US . . . but on the off chance you're south of the equator:

I got a nanao chassis that was DOA repaired for $80 australian (plus shipping) from a guy in Perth (Australia): www.jomac.net.au

Considering the monitor was free I thought it was worth it ;D
Shut up! Bloody Vikings!!
