vector galaga cp overlay and kickplate?
« on: February 22, 2004, 12:03:54 pm »
I've got the sideart and the marquee,  but are the cp and kickplate out there vectorized somewhere?
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

I've got the CPO done (well I still have some minor improvements still planned) and I'm working on the kickplate.

Can you use a CorelDRAW file? I had some trouble converting to Illustrator.

I actually don't have Illustrator or any other programs of the like as of now.  I'm more in the gathering stage of the project, then once I have it all I'm gonna go out and get all the programs (my brother-in-law Chris has a bunch of stuff like that I can borrow).

So anyways, yea, I'll take whatever you have.  Perhaps I can get Chris to convert it or something...

Yeah, that's what I did with Illustrator too. I downloaded the trial of Illustrator which you can use for a month.

I guess I'll have the artwork done by the end of the week (hopefully sooner). The Galaga bug in the kickplate only needs color correcting, half a landinggear and the two missiles. Probably it will end up on some vector site. Zorg is working on a mametrix-reloaded replacement. If you can't find it by the time you need it, just PM me and I'll mail you the files.
