Hello. I have a PC with the following configuration:
- Motherboard Gigabyte B450M DS3H;
- Processor AMD Ryzen 5 1600;
- Video Card Radeon RX 570 4GB;
- RAM 8GB DDR4 3200mhz x2
My intention is to make an arcade cabinet with an image very close to the original machines. Initially I was going to purchase a arcade tube/monitor @15kHz, but due to difficulties in the acquisition, I bought a Philips TV model 20PT4331, with AV and CVI inputs. As RX 570 only has DVI, HDMI and Displayport outputs, I had to purchase a converter.
With an HDMI2AV converter the image appeared normally, although with very poor quality, but with HDMI to CVI converter the image is distorted.
I used QuickRes to reduce the PC resolution to 640x480. Soft-15KHz was not compatible with my RX 570. I also used CRT Emudriver & Tools 2.0 beta 15 (Adrenalin 18.5.1 for GCN cards) for Windows 10, 64 bits.
The drivers were installed normally, but when using Video Mode Maker, even selecting four different monitor types (NTSC CRT TVs, PAL CRT TVs, Standard resolution monitor (15kHz) or High resolution monitor (31.5 kHz)) the distorted image is the same.
Can anyone help me at least make the Windows screen appear on the TV? Now my concern is not even to have the image as faithful as possible. I will already consider it a victory to run an emulator.
Sorry my poor English, it isn't so good.
Thanks in advance.
