Sloooow Games
« on: February 20, 2004, 07:48:35 pm »
I'm running a 1GHz Athlon, 512MB ram, Win98, Mame32. Most CHD games run very sloooowly, like KI... Primal Rage, too. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Get a faster machine.  I've got a Athlon XP 2400+ and I can play KI, KI2, Maxforce, Area51 and Area51/MX okay, but the rest are dog slow.  It'll be a few years yet before you can play them full throttle.

It won't be too long Pentium chip at 4GHz with a Gig of RAM should do the trick ( that can't be too far off ).
