Inexpensive LCD for 19" Vertical Cabinets
« on: August 07, 2020, 05:15:18 am »
I am looking for decent inexpensive 19" LCD monitors to put in my cabinets. Since these are all MAME machines I do not need the $250-300 Wells Gardner or Vision Pro LCD's but I need something bare and flat that will drop in to an arcade cabinet and not your typical desktop with a big bezel. I'd prefer not to take a standard desktop and take it apart to mount but rather get a bare monitor to begin with. I have both vertical and horizontal cabs and will need a brand that offers both orientations, or do you just turn a horizontal monitor sideways and tweak some settings? I would be interested to know what you all have in your cabinets so I can make an informed decision. I just don't want to get a Wells Gardner if I'm not running the original PCB.
