Hi, is there anyone that can point me in the right direction to fix an issue with my machine? The monitor is a Wells Gardner 19 k4906. I got it a few weeks back and it played it, the display was fine. Previous owner said speakers did not work but upon inspection the speaker wire had been cut to about where yoke is and they were just dangling down.
The issue began when speaker wires coming from the speaker made contact with something around the yoke. As you can see in first picture below. It seemed like it short circuited, the picture immediately compressed to a horizontal line across the screen. After doing some googling it appeared to be vertical collapse. I ordered a cap kit, IC chip, transistors... I took the motherboard to a TV repair shop and the tech there was very extensive and the board was pretty much completely rebuilt. I put it back together and turned it on, and I am getting a bigger section of picture, which begins about halfway down the screen. This is where I am now. How can I test yoke? Does anyone have any recommendations before I try to take this huge machine to the tech?
