LEDBlinky - Getting started with LEDBlinky?
« on: September 19, 2019, 08:18:46 pm »
I figure these are extremely trivial questions, but I'm very new to all this so I figured I'd ask anyways:

1. In order to get LEDBlinky to work at all with my trackball (and future LED buttons) , I need an LED controller, right? Just having my trackball plugged in via USB and the lights working via the molex connector isn't enough for the program to do anything, right?

2. Assuming the answer to the first question is that I do need an LED controller, I know of the iPAC and LED-Wiz ones. Considering I'm fairly new to all this, is there a particular controller that is better than others?

3. Is LEDBlinky capable of lighting the trackball based on the player that is active? What I mean is, say I'm playing Golden Tee, if Player 1 is up, the trackball lights up blue, then when Player 2 is up, the trackball lights up red, and so on and so forth. Is that possible in LEDBlinky?

That should be all I have for now. Thanks so much for any advice. Looking forward to learning as much as I can!
