Monitor Power Supply and IT Question - 110v and 220v
« on: February 12, 2004, 02:49:52 pm »
Hi all.

I have 2 machines here. One is a Mortal Kombat 3 the other is a shabby Electrocoin one. Both of these machines ran off 220v in Europe (Ireland). The Mortal Kombat one had a WellsGardener  25K7191 (Chassis says 110v). The tube is smashed. I was going to replace the monitor with the Hanrarex MTC9000 (Chassis says 220v) that came with the shabby electrocoin. OK Here are my questions:

#1) Are all Isolation transformers the same?

#2) Can I assume that I can just connect the Hantarex directly to the Isolation transformer of the old WellsGardener. What about the different voltages on the chassis.

#3) About the other connections (rgb etc.) - Aside from different connection plugs, the wires are the same aren't they? Or should I just rip all the wiring from the shabby Electrocoin and rewire the nice MK cab?

Many many many thanks for all your help!
