has anyone used partition magic to set a new partition then install dos for a dual boot with windows 2000? i have one drive and win2k already installed and do not want to rebuild the install to have a dual boot. thanks

partition magic I ALWAYS hear good things about.

but I never bought it... why?  because each time I look at the price... I just buy another harddrive for that price and use two...

after a few years I probably would have saved money.. but each time it doesnt' seem worth it.

(and sorry... no I haven't... but I always hear good things about it.  Its faster / more optimized then anything microsoft ever came up with.

Yep, Partition Magic can do that and many other things easily.
I have done that very same thing on my MAME box.

I also recommend that you get Powerquest's Drive Image Pro to image/backup your drive before you repartition it.

Both products are very easy to use and perform very well.
