Win2k/Mame32 issue
« on: February 09, 2004, 03:37:42 pm »
I'm thinking certain button presses are causing this:  running Mame32 in Windows 2k...after I esc out of a game (most games), the Mame 32 window isn't selected/active and I have to click on it to be able to scroll thru the game list again...this is a real pain to have to roll out the keyboard drawer in the cab after each game to reselect something else...anyone have a fix to this (other than using a real FE)?

  • Resistance is... probably a good idea.

Um, temporarily, yes, I am.  I'm finishing work on the cabinet (and playing), then I'll be considering FE's.  In the meantime, this is just something small that's driving me crazy... :-*

Sounds like you're loosing focus. First thing to try is remap your keys so you aren't using Ctrl or Alt. If key combinations are causing it that should fix you up.
