  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
LCD screen

Hey everybody,

I'm new on this forum, also excuse me for my english, but i live in Belgium.
So i have a question about my arcade cabinet monitor.

First i would like to say, that it's my third arcade cabinet i build. With the last 2 i had no problems with the monitors.
Now on the third build, i have.
Whats the problem, i run the arcade with a rp3 and i make connection with a hdmi to dvi input on the monitor. The monitor doenst have a vga output like my other 2 builds had.

The problem is, if i power up the cabinet my display won't power up. I have to manually go behind the cabinet and push the power buton and then i have to change the output channel to dvi...
My other builds start up automaticly.

Can i chance this??? Or does it have to do with the dvi output...

Kind regards
