ATI component out on "Powered by ATI" cards?
« on: February 04, 2004, 08:20:24 pm »
Folks,

Of all the people who sucessfully got the ATI component out
working on their ATI cards using the component adapter
ATI sells.

Did anyone of you use a non ATI brand card to do it? Like the "Powered
by ATI" cards (sapphire, powercolor, etc)? They are a lot cheaper
then their ATI counterparts. Will the component out/adapter
work with these cards? I just picked up the toshiba 27" tv
everyone suggested to use (with the component in). I am now
looking to pick up the video card and the adapter.

Thanks,
Crayola

There is a very extensive explination on www.avsforum.com .
I got a lot of info there trying to setup my adapter.  Do a search for component ati, explains what cards work.
