Hiscore help
« on: January 22, 2018, 03:36:51 pm »
I just dusted off my old cab, new os install the works Mameui64 0.193 everything running great etc. EXCEPT i just realised my high scores are not saving and the crux of the problem seems to be that this version of mame does not have an option to integrate the hiscore dat file (im sure previous versions did!, so what i am asking what is the best way to get around this without rebuilding my mame install, save state is an option but not my preferred option, can i alter the ini file in some way or if the mameui has no option then im screwed right?
Theres no way you can win? There is always a way!!

Hiscore is integrated through MAME's plugin system now. Create a file in MAME's root folder called plugin.ini and add the following:

Code: [Select]
#
# PLUGINS OPTIONS
#
hiscore                   1
