okay, im on a dialup connection at the moment so i cant really look at the images you posted, but i will be home (back on my cable connect!) around 3 or 3:30 central time today.  but i think that if you had them in black and white it would save on ink.  i just want to check and make sure it will be lined up right on the edges and stuff.  well the trackball too...and the numbers.  but anyway, what would be the best way to print these out?  i mean, how do you tile them so it prints out on several sheets of paper?  im not retarded, but ive never done this before.  got any suggestions?  ill let you know tonight what i want.  thanks so much again!!!

Here is a PDF in B&W for your test print at home. It's a super small file size but will print out at full size and full resolution. To tile output across multiple pages, make sure that "page scaling" in your print dialog box is set to none, otherwise it'll scale it down to a single sheet of paper. Hopefully Acrobat will "tile" the full size image across 6 or 8 sheets of paper, which you can trim, tape together and test fit on your actual CP. DO NOT USE THIS FILE FOR THE PRINTER. I'll IM you with the original Illustrator file. I may also try to email the AI file to you since it is well under 1MB.

NOTE!!! The background area on these printouts (as well as on the final) will be 1 inch larger on both sides and on top and bottom... so the final output will be 51" x 23"  This gives you extra "garbage" background to cut off after you align the art on the CP. You'll also notice it prints out as a rectangle because you're seeing areas I previously masked out in the jpegs to give you an idea of the final trimmed out look.

Heres a test print PDF in full color in case you want to try it as well. Remember that the colors won't be accurate tho.

well its not working for me.  i tried to open it in acrobat, and photoshop....both wont let me print to multiple pages.  i tried in photshop (v6.0) and i dont really know what im doing in photoshop so maybe i just missed it orsomething.  i tried in acrobat reader and it didnt seem to have the option to print over multiple pages.  i guess the only thing to do here is either A)measure again and make sure that you have all the right measurements for my cp and just trust that it will look good.  or B) have you put the pages in multiple page format and save each page and then send to me

what do you suggest?

Hey Hulk - here's the revision I mentioned in the IM. Now the numbers should clear the buttons. This is a  B&W PDF you can printout like the previous to double check. I'll be online starting around 10AM PST Monday if you need to IM me.

okay i got your new b and w file and i printed it out and saw that you just made the numbers smaller and stuff....that will be just fine.  i think that even if it is close i can move the artwork around and get it to where i want it.  oooookay!

so i guess i need you to send me the full color one...make sure its the new one of course ;D  and i also need the marquee.  oh and i want the marquee in these dimensions: 23 1/4" x 7 1/2".  i know its not really big, but im going to use the lexan sheet that i had on my old cab and plus, ive already made the marquee box!  so there you go.  ill be at work when you are online, but ill try to get instant messenger and get online for a sec so i can download that file.  ill be online at 10 pst, or 12 ct  :)....at least ill try to be on then.  if for some reason im not on after a few min. then i guess ill just get the file later tonight.  so cp art, and marquee....and i think we'll be good to go!  let me know if there are any problems.

May not be until 11am that I'm able to get online. Regardless, I emailed the CP to you. Hopefully hotmail won't reject it. It's only about 250K.
