This was done a while back. I recall that we have one girl, but she isn't very active (and I don't think she has a cabinet). You can't rely on the results of a gender poll in a historically male community because some people will lie.

I only know of one girl in the larger arcade collecting community (counting, people I know in real life, klov members, and RGVAC members) and that is Jetgirl in California, she has Frogger, Burgertime, Bump N Jump and DK Jr.

This really is a male hobby. Girls love to play, but few seem to want to own or build their own.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Well, I'm a newbie girl, actually the wife of one of the members here.
I was kind of surprised when my husband got into arcade games and started building a Mame cab.  I figured it was a phase.  But he has since proven to be fanatical about this new hobby and has been "coaching" me on different cabs, i.e. what games can be used in what cabinets and so forth.  I'm catching on...although my first passion will always be cars.  ;)

I'll tell you this...I LOVE Roadblasters!! And no, I DON'T like Ms. Pacman!!!
Arcade games are like rabbits...every couple days another one appears out of nowhere.
