Hey Long time member just got around to completing a new JAMMA cabinet to a MAME machine conversion and have everything setup running spectatcular but Ive noticed that my current build of hyperspin is just a mess. I am an arcade purist when it comes to a clean front end I just want ARCADE emulation (none of this console stuff, thats why we have consoles )  So I scrapped all of the console crap from my current build but find its still lacking tons of great Arcade hardware like SEGA model 2-3 Naomi etc. (Hate to install all of these manually when im sure im not the only one who thinks something like this already exists)

Does anyone know of a complete ARCADE only themed hyperspin?
If not maybe you may know of another complete ARCADE only front end?

Id love to hear some feedback. Its been a very tedious few weeks working with software and hardware conflicts
Do you reccomend paying for front end stuff? like EMUmovies etc?

Haven't been on the scene in a long time and would love to hear what you guys are using :)
Thanks!

  • I have a gaming addiction.....
Not that I am aware of, I spent weeks adding all the systems on my cab and filtering out the crap using dons tools etc etc.

Its the easiest way to filter the hyperspin lists.

I used it to filter out non working games, mahjong (and other such crap), bootlegs etc etc and left myself with just playable decent games.

Use clrmame pro and rom centre to filter your actual roms.

MAME is by far the worst to sort through though.

All the other systems you can filter/test/configure in a few hours.
