Flight Sim Recommendation?
« on: January 24, 2004, 11:37:00 pm »
I just picked up a analog flight stick and throttle controller.  But of course I have no flight sim games!

Anyone have any good games they would recommend I buy that I can use with my new controller?

Fighter jet stuff is more my style.

falcon 4.0
Jane's whatchamacallit
crimson sky (for an arcade feel)
battle over britain
Any of the M$ flight sims.

What joy and throttle?  I'm thinking of picking up a saitek x36F x35T whatever that combo is.

I got the Saitek x45.  I haven't played it with anything yet but the construction is very good considering they're less than $100.  Throttle could be a bit smoother but it may break in.

I did some searching yesterday and I found a game called Lock On: Modern Air Combat.  It looks pretty interesting, going to grab the demo and check it out.

Thanks for the replys guys
