Flipping to Desktop Niggle
« on: February 05, 2017, 01:10:59 pm »
Hi Folks, this doesnt happen often but once in a while with a frantic two player session on my cabinet an as yet undetermined key sequence seems to flip my game back to Windows 7 desktop. Im using the bog standard mame keys everywhere, so player one is rife with ALT, CTRL and Shift. That said, I cant seem to figure out what the combination is. Any ideas?

Don't know what encoder you're using but on my mini PAC holding down p1 start and pressing p2 start sends the ESC key which exits out of mame....

Using the iPac Ultimate IO - so nothing unusual. I know the shift key on Player 1 Start can be a problem but during game play then its just the usual P1 and P1 U/D/L/R and the first six buttons for each player. Having checked the corresponding key codes I can only assume that its a combination of one or more Player One :

L-ALT
L-CTRL
L-SHIFT

and one (or more) of the letter keys for player 2 (and the remainder of player 1).

Very odd, and difficult to re-create which is a pain.

Ok - found the answer to this - its the RocketLauncher exit script key combination giving me a headache!
