Need Help - Getting Multiple Monitors working with MAME
« on: February 03, 2017, 09:01:41 pm »
Hey guys I'm looking at building a new cab and I'd like to implement multiple monitors for MAME. Problem is I can't seem to figure out how to get this working. I believe I'm using MAME .149 and I have changed the mame.ini under the WINDOWS VIDEO OPTIONS to reflect numscreens 2.

Couple of problems:
1. Secondary monitor shows graphics
2. Main monitor is black
3. Keyboard controls no longer do anything except for ESC to exit. <---- This is now working with the top screen on the right monitor now. Why is the main screen still black?

What am I doing wrong and how can I get a 2nd monitor working for games like Punch Out and the vs. System.

First enable both monitors in windows - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/976064/guided-help-dual-monitor-setup-is-easy-in-windows-7

The best way is to target specific game/driver or vertical/horizontal games into specific monitor.
