Trouble with GroovyArcade
« on: February 02, 2017, 04:21:50 pm »
Hello everybody.

I have trouble with some annoying glitches in groovyarcade/mame.

The system is made from following parts:
Asus H110I-plus motherboard
Core I3-6100T 3.2 GHz
4 GB DDR4 Crucial 2133 MHz
Radeon x600 128mb

running GroovyArcade-Arch2016.07.02-x86_64
from a 32GB usb stick.

It is running perfectly, but now and then black flickering lines/bars appear and sometimes move over the screen. (Radeon x600 128mb)
The black flickering lines always appear horizontally in horizontal games and vertically in vertical games. The monitor is a 20" 4:3 lcd panel.
I've also tested with another Radeon and a Geforce card aswell - and no flicker there, but got screen tearing instead.

I also tested the distro with a laptop with a radeon gpu, and the same happened on its built-in screen.

I have tried everything i can think of with no luck, so the only option now left now is to ask for help from some of the veterans here  ;)
