  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
lagless settings
« on: December 28, 2016, 02:26:43 pm »
Hello,

This is my setup:

Computer: Dell Optiplex with Core2Duo CPU
Graphic card: ATI 4350
Display: Sony PVM
Joystick: Arcade stick, homemade, Logitech precision used as base.
OS: Windows XP 32bit

I have no way to test my input lag. This setup is different from my supergun, so I don't know if it just feels weird because I've changed stick or I am having input lag.
I cannot use directdraw in this GroovyMAME version (0.180), so I am using direct 3d. From what I read on forums, I need to use frame_delay set to 1. Is that correct? Do you have any other tips for me?

Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.
